The Ableconn MDP12VGAD provides a easy and cost-effective solution for connecting a notebook or desktop PC to a VGA monitor or projector.
Simply connect the Mini DisplayPort male end of the adapter into an Mini DisplayPort connector of notebook or desktop PC and the female end of the adapter to your VGA cable from the display. (VGA cable is not included)

Q 1 .   Is it compatible with surface pro 3?
Answer: Yes, it works very well with Surface Pro 3.
Q 2 .   The device works perfectly, but the audio gone when its plug in. What do I need to do?
Answer: The audio of your existing built-in speakers and headphone jack are still available. Just check your Playback Devices of Sound (Control Panel->All Control Panel Items->Sound) and make sure your Speakers/Headphones are set as Default Device and in use.
Q 3 .   Does it deliver sound (voice) from laptop to projector?
Answer: No. MDP12VGAD only delivers video signals, but the audio of your existing built-in speakers, headphone jack are still available. Just check your Playback Devices of Sound (Control Panel->All Control Panel Items->Sound) and make sure your Speakers/Headphones are set as Default Device and in use.
