Product Description
The Ableconn ISAT-M2SR turns two M.2 SATA SSD modules into an 2.5-inch SATA III SSD drive with RAID to increase performance and redundancy. The drive metal frame and mounting holes enable you to install it like a 2.5" internal hard drive. It supports SATA based M.2 NGFF 80/60/42/30 mm SSD.

Customer FAQ

Q 1 .   Does it support RAID 0?
Answer:
Ableconn ISAT-M2SR does support RAID 0. We do not emphasize RAID 0 because RAID 0 actually reduce the performance due to the overhead and the SATA III bandwidth between host (real-world max throughput 4.8 Gbps or 600 MB/s). We do not recommend running the board as RAID 0, but it should still work properly.

Please make sure that the mode setting is done properly with the following steps:
1. turn off the system, and install the modules.
2. set the jumper to the proper mode.
3. set the J2 to position SET-GND for mode change.
4. turn on the power to the board. 
5. wait a few seconds then turn off the power, remove J2 and put the jumper to SET-NC, disabling the mode change.
6. you can now connect to the system and start using the drive. Please check if the volume is correct.
 
 
Note: J2 is a RAID setting jumper:
short SET-GND: Unlocked RAID and let you change RAID configuration mode
short SET-NC: Locked RAID. It does not allow you to change RAID configuration mode.
